Pour répondre au mieux à nos clients, nous recherchons un Application Scientist (H/F), pour notre département Pharma dans l’équipe du Customer Technical Service (CTS) ! Ce poste est basé à Lestrem (près de Lille).

Notre Equipe

Le CTS Pharma est un laboratoire d’applications pharmaceutiques qui propose des solutions incorporant des excipients Roquette pour nos clients opérants principalement en Europe, mais aussi dans le monde entier.

Nous attendons votre expérience et votre talent pour :

• Développer des solutions d’applications pour répondre aux besoins des clients, en apportant des éléments et des preuves scientifiques.
• Mener les études d’applications pour démontrer et évaluer la valeur de nos solutions ou en développant de nouveaux produits.
• Innover et protéger vos innovations par la rédaction de brevets.
• Ecrire les rapports d’études techniques et scientifiques (bibliographie, résumés, posters…).
• Participer et animer les cessions de formation à l’attention des clients / commerciaux / distributeurs.
• Participer aux essais clients avec un haut niveau d’exigence technique.
• Participer aux visites clients, aux essais chez les clients, salons, conférences, et séminaires Roquette.
• Accompagner la digitalisation du laboratoire.
• Contribuer à instaurer un environnement de travail sécurisé et agréable.

Ce que nous aimerons chez vous ?

Nous recherchons un(e) Application Scientist possédant une excellente communication et un sens commercial développé avec une compréhension des enjeux business pour identifier les opportunités et répondre aux besoins des clients.

D’autre part, la capacité à travailler de façon transverse, en collaboration avec diverses équipes, est cruciale pour garantir une approche cohérente et efficace.

Si vous êtes passionné(e) par la science, que vous avez de l’appétence pour le travail d’équipe en environnement laboratoire et aimez interagir avec les clients : ce poste est fait pour vous !

Et aussi :

• Niveau Bac+5 en physique ou en chimie, ou êtes titulaire d’un diplôme de pharmacien
• Au moins 3 ans d’expérience sur un poste similaire, idéalement en laboratoire
• Connaissance des procédés des poudres (compression, coating…) est un plus
• Capacité d’analyse, de synthèse, et de reporting : rapports d’études, présentations…etc.
• Force de proposition, capacité à innover
• Expérience en installation de nouveaux équipements, leur maintenance et leur entretien. Connaissance des principes de sécurité en laboratoire et de la manipulation des équipements en toute sécurité
• Maîtrise de l’anglais orale et écrite

The role & the teams

To meet our challenges, we are looking for our next Application Scientist (M/F), for our Pharma department, within the Customer Technical Service (CTS) team! This position will be located in Lestrem (near Lille).

Our teams

You will be part of our Customer Technical Services Pharma team (CTS). The CTS is a laboratory where our teams develop valuable application solutions in Europe destinated to our customers.

You will bring your experience and talent to:

• Develop application solutions to support customer needs, based on scientific evidence and on structure and function value relation
• Lead part of application studies, to demonstrate and evaluate the functional value of our solution, current product, range extension and new product development.
• Innovate and protect the value by patenting our solutions
• Write study reports and scientific and technical reports (bibliography, abstract, posters…)
• Participate and animate training for our customers / internal sales forces / distribution network
• Participate to customer trials, with a high degree of technical challenge,
• Participate to customer visits, external trials, exhibitions, conferences, and Roquette seminars.
• Participate to the digitalization of the laboratory
• Contribute to a safe and environmentally friendly workplace

What we will love about you?

We are looking for an Application Scientist (M/F) with excellent communication skills and a strong commercial sense, along with an understanding of business issues to identify opportunities and meet client needs.

Additionally, the ability to work transversally, collaborating with various teams, is crucial to ensure a coherent and effective approach.

And also :

• Master’s degree in Physics or Chemistry, or hold a pharmacy degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a laboratory.
• Knowledge of powder processes (compression, coating, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, synthesis, and reporting skills: study reports, presentations, etc.
• Proactive, with the ability to innovate.
• Experience in installing new equipment, as well as maintenance and upkeep. Knowledge of laboratory safety principles and safe equipment handling.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
