Course Description:

A series of 8 one and a half hour meetings where professors in different fields of study come together to practice speaking in their second official language while sharing insights on best teaching practices with their peers. *Once the class is completed, if the professor participants have actively participated in more than 80% of the classes, they may be eligible for a personalized teaching session for the review of his class material, lasting one hour per learner. Schedule: Mondays 12:00-1:30pm from October 21 to December 9, 2024

B.A. with specialization in a field relevant to the teaching of L2 English or Higher Certificate in L2 French Teaching. Two years of experience teaching ESL at the college and/or university level. Previous experience teaching this course or an equivalent ESL course. Experience with heterogeneous group.
