Job Description

Creative Opportunities: Ancient Landscapes, Animals and Changing Climates

Inspired by Ancient Landscapes, Animals and Changing Climates, we want to explore prehistoric worlds, extraordinary creatures and changing environments, connecting the past with the world we live in today.

What are we looking for?

We welcome creative proposals across all mediums, including:

-Visual arts: painting, drawing and printmaking.
– Craft and making
– textiles, ceramics, sculpture and model-making.
– Digital arts: digital art, animation, film and sound.
– Performance: drama, puppetry, storytelling and live performance.
– Nature and environment: nature-inspired, environmental and sensory arts.
– Participatory experiences: events, trails and informal activities.
– Experimental approaches: interdisciplinary and innovative ideas.

Projects may include outreach and activities across different venues, including North Lincolnshire Museum.

Who are our audiences?
We want to create engaging, inclusive creative experiences for:
– Under-fives.
– Children and families.
– Young people.
– Adults.
– People with additional needs.

Workshops should consider accessibility, offer different ways to participate and encourage people to explore their creativity together.

From workshops to co-production
We’re looking for more than standalone activities. We want artists to work alongside participants to develop a shared creative outcome inspired by our themes. This could include a collaborative sculpture, prehistoric landscape, exhibition, installation, animation or performance.

We welcome proposals that give participants a meaningful role in shaping ideas, making creative decisions and bringing the final work to life. We’re particularly interested in projects that encourage collaboration, spark curiosity and connect people with prehistoric worlds and the changing environment.
