Responsibilities:
The World Languages Center seeks to fill a non-tenure track job opening for an Assistant Teaching Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or Full Teaching Professor of Spanish. Duties include a teaching load of six courses for the academic year (three courses in each semester) and ongoing curricular and pedagogical innovation. Professional development and service are also expected. This is a renewable and benefits-eligible position, with an expected start date of Fall 2025.
This position will support the University’s commitment to innovation in teaching as well as the World Languages Center’s vision of developing students’ intercultural communicative competence. Candidates should demonstrate commitment to fostering diverse and inclusive environments as well as to promoting experiential learning, which are central to a Northeastern University education.
