Assistant/Associate/Professor of Surgery – General and Colorectal Surgery

Position Summary

Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) and Indiana University Health Physicians are seeking a board-certified general surgeon with a completed fellowship in Colorectal Surgery to join the Division of General Surgery. This physician will have experience in all aspects of colorectal and general surgery cases and will provide services at IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals located in downtown Indianapolis. The candidate will be welcomed into a team of experienced partners that continue to provide high quality care to our patients. Fellows and practicing physicians are encouraged to apply.

This is a full-time position with clinical and academic duties. This position will have protected research time, shared call, and will be teaching residents and fellows within the clinic, inpatient and OR settings. Salary and academic / clinical rank will be commensurate with experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • MD/DO or equivalent education
  • Completion of Colorectal Fellowship
  • American Board of Surgery BC/BE
  • Established research portfolio
  • Able to obtain IN licensure
