Bloomin’ Arts is a creative arts organisation driven by the voices of disabled adults. We are a growing charity that provides collaborative opportunities for learning, physically disabled, and neurodiverse adults to develop skills, perform, and work in the arts. In our small, friendly workshops, our highly experienced artist tutors focus on individual skills. We work to everyone’s strengths, enabling all participants to access art productions at any level they choose, in a collaborative and welcoming environment.
We are looking for an Assistant Dance Tutor to work with our Lead Dance Tutor. We are based in Lingfield, East Surrey (RH7 6). We are fortunate to be in a rural location close to the Kent and Sussex borders, so you will need your own transport to get here.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting the delivery of the Dance Company. You don’t need prior experience in inclusive practice, as we can provide training. What we need is your enthusiasm for dance and willingness to get involved every Thursday. You should be passionate about people-warm, friendly, and happy to participate. While you may be supporting us on the same day every week, no two days are the same! You will help our participants recognise and optimise their strengths so they can develop and share their creative talents. You may also be passionate about seeing people thrive and showcasing that dance is for everyone. We will provide opportunities for you to use your existing skills and learn new ones.
