Job Description
As Assistant Producer, you’ll provide high-quality production and administrative support across LAMDA’s diverse programme of productions and projects. You’ll help coordinate schedules, contracts, budgets, meetings and communications while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of productions.
You’ll also take ownership of selected projects, including smaller public productions and internal performance initiatives, giving you the opportunity to develop your producing skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.
No two days are the same – you could be welcoming visiting directors, organising travel for an Edinburgh tour, supporting rehearsals, coordinating production meetings or helping deliver relaxed performances.
Please note this role is operating at a 0.5 contract).
FTE salary:£30,068 – £33,842 + Benefits
Pro Rata Salary: £15,034 – £16,921 + Benefits (0.5 FTE)

We’re looking for someone who is:
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
A confident communicator who enjoys working with a wide range of people.
Able to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
Passionate about theatre and live performance.
Proactive, flexible and solutions focused.
Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
Experienced in administration, project coordination or production support (ideally within theatre, live events or the arts).
Confident using Microsoft Office and managing administrative systems.
Knowledge of theatre production processes, budgeting and scheduling would be advantageous, as would an understanding of working within an educational or arts training environment.

Supporting the Producer in planning and delivering LAMDA’s annual production programme.
Coordinating communications between directors, creative teams and internal departments.
Preparing and administering contracts, agreements and production documentation.
Producing rehearsal schedules, induction packs and coordinating visiting artists’ onboarding.
Assisting with recruitment and engagement of freelance creative teams.
Supporting budgets, purchase orders and invoice processing.
Coordinating travel and accommodation for off-site productions and tours.
Producing selected public productions and internal performance projects.
Organising production meetings and taking accurate minutes.
Creating sensory guides for relaxed performances.
Maintaining production records, databases and filing systems.
