Position Summary/Description:

The Department of Women’s and Gender Studies (WGST) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) seeks to appoint a tenure-track Assistant Professor, beginning academic year 2024-25. We seek a colleague who will complement existing strengths in our department; we are particularly interested in social scientists who specialize in LGBTQ studies, Black feminisms, and/or critical theory. The selected candidate will be expected to teach two courses per semester at all levels of our curriculum, publish actively, and offer service to the Department and University.
