We are currently looking to fill the position of Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) to join our Biology team.

Job Information and Responsibilities

The Department of Biology at Saint Mary’s University invites applications for a nine-month sessional appointment (non-tenure track) at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective August 1st, 2024. The position will require the applicant to teach the equivalent of five single-semester lecture sections.

Experience and Education Requirements

The ideal candidate must hold an MSc or PhD in Biology (or related field) and have a record of effective teaching in the field of Cell Biology and Physiology at the introductory and intermediate levels, with an ability to teach a selection of other courses in Vertebrate Anatomy, Ecology or Evolution.
