Position Summary

The Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management in the Fogelman College of Business & Economics is seeking an Assistant Professor of Teaching in Business Analytics and Supply Chain Management effective Fall 2024, pending available funding. The primary teaching responsibilities for this position will include in-person and online sections of undergraduate and graduate core business analytics courses. Additional teaching responsibilities may include supply chain analytics and other SCM courses. The faculty member is expected to participate in departmental activities and university service responsibilities.

Compensation

This is a 9-month, academic-year, appointment and offers competitive compensation and an attractive benefits program.

The College

The Fogelman College of Business & Economics has become a leading business school in the Southeast. Globalization is a strategic emphasis of the College. Degree programs offered include the BBA, MA (Economics), MBA, MS, and PhD. The academic programs of the College are fully accredited by AACSB International. Minimum Position Qualifications

Qualifications

A Ph.D. in Decision Sciences, Management Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline from an AACSB-accredited college of business is preferred. Candidates with a Master’s degree and significant work experience in one of these disciplines may also be considered. Effective college teaching experience is preferred and a commitment to teaching excellence is required for the Assistant Professor of Teaching position.
