The appointment will be made at the rank of Assistant Professor and will commence on August 1, 2025, subject to budgetary approval. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Political Science with research and teaching expertise in the subfield of Canadian Politics. Candidates should have an active research agenda and a commitment to high quality undergraduate teaching.
The successful candidate will teach the equivalent of five 3-credit courses:
Fall Term:
• POLS 3101 – Political Leadership in Canada
• POLS 41xx – Special Topics
Winter Term:
• POLS 2101 – Canadian Government & Politics
• POLS 3151 – Political Parties & Elections in Canada
• POLS 41xx – Special Topics
