Scripps Research is conducting a broad faculty search for an outstanding candidate for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in either the Departments of Chemistry, Immunology & Microbiology, Integrative Structural & Computational Biology, Molecular Medicine, Molecular and Cellular Biology, or Neuroscience.  We are especially interested in candidates whose research programs envision a multidisciplinary perspective and cutting-edge experimental approaches.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Ph.D., PharmD., M.D., D.V.M., or equivalent in a relevant discipline, and an outstanding record of research that demonstrates originality in addressing significant and important biological questions.  Successful candidates will be expected to establish an active research group, be an interactive member of the faculty, and participate in interdisciplinary research and training.

Candidates are also requested to enclose a statement describing how their program can uniquely benefit from resources and expertise available at Scripps Research.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis by a diverse Search Committee. The first round of review will be concluded on applications submitted prior to December 31, 2024. Applications will continue to be accepted until the positions are filled, or by the close of May 2025. Anticipated start date is Fall 2025.
