Job Summary:

Assistant Teaching Professor/Assistant Lecturer in Game Design to teach courses which may include, but are not limited to, game programming, game art, game technology, the business of games, game studies, and game design. Position will also provide service to the University and advise students. Position may also facilitate graduate/undergraduate interdisciplinary research projects; lead client-based projects; and help lead co-curricular activities and student organizations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Terminal degree (e.g., M.F.A. or Ph.D.) in a closely related field required by date of appointment for appointment as Assistant Teaching Professor. Master’s degree in a closely related field or a bachelor’s degree and five years of full-time experience in the game industry required by date of appointment for appointment as Assistant Lecturer.

Desired Qualifications:

Consideration may be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in related areas or a record of experience and/or keen interest in teaching in related areas.
