Position Details

The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at The University of Tampa invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor, to begin in August 2025. This is a full-time, non-tenure track instructional faculty position, renewable annually. Applicants will be expected to teach four classes per semester. Area of specialization is open; however, successful candidates will have the ability to teach introductory level criminology and criminal justice courses as well as core courses. We are especially interested in someone who can teach courts courses.

Qualifications

Applicants must demonstrate a record of excellence in teaching at the college level. A terminal degree in criminology or criminal justice or a related discipline from an accredited institution is required.
