Salary Range: Generally starting at $69,000-75,000 per academic year.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This position has been determined to be exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Summary
The Department of Computer Science (CS) in the College of Engineering & Applied Science (EAS) is seeking applications for an assistant teaching professor. This position will teach undergraduate courses including cross-listed courses in the Department of Computer Science as assigned by the department chair. The typical course load for an instructor is 24 credit hours (80% time) per academic year and service activity (20% time).
The Computer Science (CS) Department at UCCS has five Bachelors programs, BS-CS, BA-CS, BI (Bachelor of Innovation)-CS, BI-Game Design and Development, and BI-Cybersecurity. The department has several Masters programs and two PhD programs: CS and Cybersecurity. The BS-CS and BA-CS programs have specializations in AI/ML, Game Development, Software Engineering, Computer Systems and Networking, and Cybersecurity. Assistant Teaching Professors will teach courses necessary for multiple Computer Science (CS) degrees and specialization, participate in service activities and other duties including but not limited to:
