Appointment TypeNon-Tenure-track/ContractLength of AppointmentFT Academic YearDescriptionTeaching load is four Spanish language and/or Spanish linguistics classes each semester (12 credit hours). The primary emphasis for contract faculty is excellence in teaching. Expertise in linguistics required.

Minimum QualificationsMaster’s degree in Spanish or appropriate related field, from an accredited institution by August 2025. Expertise in Spanish linguistics. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English. Evidence of successful Spanish language teaching at the college level.

Authorization to work in the USCandidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.Preferred QualificationsABD or Ph.D. in Spanish Linguistics or appropriate related field, from an accredited institution by August 2025. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English. Evidence of successful Spanish language teaching at the college level.
