Departmental Overview
The Goldman School of Public Policy (GSPP) is consistently ranked as one of the top graduate schools of public policy in the nation, and is currently ranked as the number one school of Policy Analysis in the country by US News & World Report. It functions as a small, professional school at the University of California, Berkeley which prepares graduate students for careers in public leadership domestically and internationally.
GSPP offers the following degree programs: The Master of Development Practice (MDP) studies innovative and sustainable approaches to global development. The Master of Public Policy (MPP) program emphasizes the applied and quantitative dimensions of policy making. The Master of Public Affairs (MPA) focuses on policy management and leadership for mid-career professionals. GSPP also offers a doctoral program, an undergraduate minor, and several concurrent degrees.
The Goldman School’s faculty represent the top academic names and research agendas in their respective disciplinary fields, which include economics, political science, law, statistics, social psychology, and engineering.

Position Summary
The position is focused on advising and coaching students who are interested in international development careers. This person plans, develops, and implements programs, activities, counseling, and advising focused on students’ career development. This person works with students, alumni, and/or potential employers to develop networking opportunities and career resources for students, with a particular focus on international development. We are recruiting for one position with some or all of the following expertise:

Salary & Benefits
This is a 100% full-time (40 hrs a week) exempt career position, which is paid monthly and eligible for UC Benefits.

Under California law, the University of California, Berkeley is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $77,600.00 – $109,000.00.
