We offer BA degrees in Italian Studies with Film Studies and as a Double Degree with the University of Venice Ca’ Foscari, along with a number of combined language degrees, including a BA in Italian with other modern languages, Management, History of Art, Latin, and Philosophy. At postgraduate level we offer an MA in Language, Culture and History: Italian Studies, and doctoral training in several fields.

About the role

The post holder will contribute to teaching at undergraduate level and will teach approximately 320 contact hours of Italian language classes.

They will prepare and deliver seminars in Italian language as allocated by the Programme Director of Italian and the Head of Department of SELCS.

The post holder will be expected to participate in departmental events and contribute to the intellectual life of the department.

This is a full-time role, with the total hours of work required equating to 1.0 full time equivalent per year. The successful candidate will be expected to take up the position on 23 September 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter. This is a fixed term position for one academic year from 23 September 2024 to 31 August 2025.
