|Title||AY23-24 Honors Program Peer Advisor (Non-Work Study)|
|Position Description||The Honors Program Peer Advisor is a representative of our diverse community of over 1000 students and should have a commitment to academic success, community engagement, service, leadership, and social and racial justice. Honors Program Peer Advisors help shape the Honors Program at BSU by sharing their insights and developing presentations, programming, and/or content that will enhance prospective and current honors students’ experiences. There is ample opportunity to develop professional skills and competencies as student employees are encouraged to attend campus workshops and speak at recruitment events, in classes, and/or student organization meetings, to engage with their fellow bears as well as prospective students and their families, sharing their story and experiences. Honors Program Peer Advisors build community within Honors and on campus at large, and create meaningful relationships with Honors and BSU students, faculty, staff, and administrators. Students in this role will also collaborate with the Honors Program Leadership Team on projects and office tasks that relate to and advance our goals.
Position is 5-7 hours per week.
