Job Description

Good day, everyone!

Here at Dance&Arts, we are currently looking for a lovely teacher to lead our available Ballet Afterschool Club.
Please see the details below:

Club: Ballet Afterschool Club
Schedule: Every MONDAY, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM
Duration: Starting Monday 2nd of February until the 16th of March
Location: Primary school in the Putney area SW15
Students: Reception to Year 3 (Ages 4-8)
Pay is £40 per hour.

ESSENTIAL: Enhanced DBS check, commitment, and high reliability.

Job Requirements

Passion for teaching young children (ages 4-8)
Demonstrable experience and expertise in Ballet or early years dance teaching
Ability to create a fun, structured, inclusive, and safe class environment
Strong classroom and group management skills
Positive, energetic, and nurturing teaching approach
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one before employment)
Right to Work in the UK (preferably residing in the London area)

Job Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate ballet sessions
Introduce basic ballet technique, musicality, and movement in a playful way
Foster confidence, coordination, creativity, and enjoyment of dance
Ensure each session is structured, safe, and aligned with Dance&Arts’ teaching values
