Inspiring Ballet & Tap Teacher Wanted
Mainstream Theatre Arts – Tameside and Greater Manchester’s trusted home for high-quality performing arts training for children and young people.
Are looking for a qualified Ballet & Tap teacher to join our friendly, established team in Denton, Tameside, Manchester. This Saturday role involves teaching children and young people aged 3-18 in a supportive, creative and aspirational environment.
About the role
Teach Ballet and Tap to motivated students aged 3-18
Prepare pupils for Ballet and Tap examinations
Lead and develop your own department.
Work within a positive, inclusive and well-established (45yrs) performing arts school
This is a freelance, part-time permanent position for 5 hours every Saturday, 40 weeks per year. There are also optional paid opportunities to choreograph for our full-scale theatre productions.
Associate Teacher qualified in Ballet and Tap
A minimum of two years’ experience with a successful record of preparing students for examinations.
An enthusiastic, reliable and inspiring teaching style
A strong commitment to student progress, confidence and enjoyment
