Bats in Churches Advisor

Bat Conservation Trust

We are recruiting for a Bats in Churches Advisor to join our small and busy National Bat
Helpline team, who are ambassadors for bats and their conservation, often being the first point
of contact that a church community will have with BCT. The Bats in Churches Advisor will
contribute to bat conservation by answering a wide range of enquiries from churches, by phone
and email. They will provide resources, information, and guidance to churches with bats,
building on and developing our advice, guidance, and training with consideration of the needs
of church communities.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, who is able
to understand the needs of a diverse range of people, able to inspire trust and respect with
volunteers and church communities. The successful candidate will have knowledge of bat biology
and ecology and a solid grounding in the issues surrounding bats in churches.
