Business Analyst

About the role:

The British Museum is at an exciting phase of its technical development with many older legacy systems currently being updated with new technologies. This brings many opportunities for development, but also many changes and challenges. We are looking for an internal consultant help drive the Museum’s digital and technology transformation. You will play an essential role by identifying business challenges, outlining opportunities, redesigning internal processes, and sourcing new technologies.

You will work across the Museum to:

1. Understand existing business needs and individual stakeholder requirements. You will achieve this through discovery exercises, workshops, and stakeholder engagement

2.Document findings in report papers. Papers will clearly articulate existing challenges, scope of the project, objectives, options analysis, and recommendations

3. Engage with wider market and technology suppliers and to test solutions, support procurement processes, and make final recommendations

You will get the opportunity to work with stakeholders across the entire Museum, from Archives to Website design to Facilities Management to Collection Care.
