Purpose

Strengthen the organisational and technical development of civil society organisations (CSOs) and ethnic service providers (ESPs) to support the recovery of displaced and conflict-affected communities in south eastern Myanmar.

Job Responsibilities, Duties & Tasks

Core Responsibilities & Duties

Coordinate organisational development of partners

  • Conduct organizational capacity assessments of each partner agency on an annual basis to identify gaps and inform organisational development plans.
  • Mentoring and coaching the identify gaps of partner organizations and assist to review and develop relevant policies, guidelines and procedures of their respective organizations.
  • Manage organisational development budget lines to ensure that available resources are fully utilised.
  • Promote mutual accountability by ensuring programme operation and procedures are effectively safeguarding against abuse, exploitation, fraud and corruption.
  • Conduct training/workshop related with the organizational development and cross-cutting issues with partner staffs.

Coordinate technical skills development of partners

  • Supervise the Public Health Officer’s support and monitoring of ethnic health organisations (EHOs) and CSOs to promote improved nutrition, sanitation and hygiene practices in remote communities.
  • Supervise the Agriculture Officer’s support and monitoring of ESPs and CSOs to increase the productivity and sustainability of agricultural practices in upland communities.
  • Organisation Development and Monitoring reports in line with donors’ requirements.
  • Compile monthly situation and programme reports for TBC staff in coordination with Agriculture and Public Health Officers.

Job Specification (Minimum Job Requirements)

Education: Bachelor degree or diploma in Organisational Development, Humanitarian Development or any related field.

Experience: At least 5 years of direct experience in conducting capacity building and skills development for humanitarian sector and/or NGOs
