Here at Dance&Arts, we are currently looking for an energetic and experienced instructor to lead our Capoeira Afterschool Club for KS2 pupils.
Please see the details below:
Club: Capoeira Afterschool Club
Schedule: Every THURSDAY, from 3:45 PM to 4:45 PM
Duration: Starting the 8th of January until the 26th of March
(10 sessions total – half-term excluded)
Location: Primary school in the Hackney area E8
Students: Year 3-6 (ages 8-11 years old)
Pay: £40 per hour
ESSENTIAL: Enhanced DBS check, commitment, and high reliability.

Passion for teaching children and young people (ages 8-11)
Experience in Capoeira, martial arts, or movement-based disciplines
Ability to lead fun, structured, and culturally engaging sessions
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one – guidance provided)
Right to Work in the UK
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Capoeira sessions
Teach basic techniques, rhythms, movement, and coordination
Promote confidence, discipline, teamwork, and respect
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
