Carer / Health Care Assistant

Join the caring team at Denville Hall, the UK’s only residential and nursing home dedicated to retired members of the entertainment industry. We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care while helping residents enjoy fulfilling and independent lives.

As a Care Assistant, you will support residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and mealtimes. You’ll encourage independence wherever possible while ensuring residents are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion at all times.

You will monitor residents’ wellbeing, report any changes, follow individual care plans, maintain accurate records, and work closely with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding care. You’ll also help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment while following health and safety, infection control, and moving and handling procedures.

Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training and ongoing development will be provided.

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) involving shift work, including weekends and bank holidays.
