About the Job
Swinburne College was established in 2020, as a joint venture partnership between Swinburne University and UP Education, to deliver a range of pathway programs for both international and domestic students. These programs (Foundation Year, UniLink Diplomas, ELICOS, Postgraduate Qualifying Program) assist students to reach the entry requirements for a university degree, transition from post-secondary to higher education or improve English language skills.
We are seeking an experienced and suitably qualified teacher to contribute to the high-quality delivery of our UniLink Diploma of Health Science program.
In this role, you will support and influence the student experience by crafting an engaging learning environment, motivating and preparing a diverse student cohort for future success. You will be responsible for leading a range of units, employing contemporary teaching and learning practices that address the specific needs of Swinburne College pathway students.
About you
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Experience delivering to diverse student cohorts, including contributing to the pastoral care of learners and awareness of the unique needs of pathway students.
- Demonstrated teaching and learning leadership experience, including an ability to supervise and mentor peers, ensuring academic expectations are met.
- Demonstrated experience in improving student outcomes, utilising contemporary teaching and learning practices.
- Proven ability to maintain required student success and satisfaction standards.
Qualifications
AQF Level 5 or above qualification directly related to Health Science.
