Certified HS English Teacher – Part-time

Catapult Learning is looking for a part timecertified NJ High School English teacherto positively impact a childs education atTrenton Catholic Preparatory Academy High SchoolinHamilton, NJ.The teacher will be responsible for providing educational programs and establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth. This part time position is 3 days a week.

Catapult Learning provides all classroom and instructional materials as well as prepared lesson plans and paid training. Continued instructional and leadership support for all teachers is also provided.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Attends training sessions, passes content assessment, and delivers designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills to eligible students through utilization of Company-designed materials and educational strategies.
• Develops and maintains individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Willing to teach ESL to students, if needed.
• Ensures supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classroom or to mobile/trailer classroom.
• Establishes and maintains student forms and files as required by Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
• Attends and documents conferences/meetings/trainings with Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
• Maintains inventory of educational materials and supplies.
• Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Active NJ Standard English teaching certificate K-12 required
• Substitute, CE, CEAS teaching certificates are acceptable for work to finish out the school year. We may not be able to rehire for next year if a teacher only has this certificate.
• 1-3 years teaching experience
• Catapult Learning employees are subject to state and local licensure and pre-employment screening.
• Proficient in MS Office, OneDrive, Zoom, etc.
