Overview

As our Certified Medical Assistant at CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic of Arkansas – North Little Rock, you will help patients navigate their heart health journey by providing essential clinical support so they can achieve optimal cardiac well-being.

Every day you will perform a variety of clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures. You will be expected to accurately document patient information, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine compassion for patients.

CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic of Arkansas is a cardiology subspecialty clinic for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions of the heart and vascular systems. Responsibilities

• Support and maintain patient flow to reduce patient wait times during clinic

• Efficiently manage time by prioritizing each patients’ needs

• Return/ Direct patient phone calls

• Record/ verify medical records such as medical histories, medication reconciliations, and vital signs

• Coordinate with hospital admissions and laboratory services

• Diagnostic Testing: EKGs, Stress Echos, Lab, Nuclear Medicine

• Assist clinic RN staff as needed

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required. Certification must be nationally recognized for eligibility.

• High School Diploma/ GED required

• Previous experience is preferred, but not required

• BLS through the American Heart Association is required

Pay Range

$16.00 – $21.83 /hour
