Full Time and Permanent Position

Job Description: We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Colorectal Surgeon to join our expanding team in northern Illinois. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of a high-quality, community-based colorectal surgery service line, with strong collaboration and support from an experienced colorectal team in Madison, Wisconsin.

Position Highlights:

Full-Time Practice: Include outpatient, inpatient, surgery, and consultations.

Referral Network: Access to a supportive network of over 270 employed providers.

Pelvic Floor Program: Partner with a board-certified urogynecologist to establish a pelvic floor program.

General Surgery Call Pool: Participation supported by a regional colorectal surgery program.

Academic Opportunities: Faculty appointment with teaching opportunities through a prestigious medical school.

State-of-the-Art Facilities: Access to 15 surgical suites on the main campus and two in Belvidere, with three Da Vinci Xi robotic surgery systems.

Cancer Care: Participation in a regional cancer center with access to clinical trials through a renowned university s clinical trials program.

Tumor Conferences: Engage in tumor conferences locally and with academic partners.

Qualifications:

MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Colorectal Surgery.

Active Illinois medical license and DEA license, or the ability to obtain these prior to or upon hire.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive Salary Range: $428,039 $504,270 (based on experience).
