Communications & Outreach Design Officer

Position description

ICMEC-CH is seeking a Communications and Outreach Design Officer in Switzerland to design and implement project communications and dissemination strategy for ICMEC’s activities within the SALVUS project.

The Communications and Outreach Design Officer will be responsible for producing materials for the project and Consortium members, including ICMEC-CH. They will coordinate awareness-raising activities, workshops, and seminars with partners and authorities and ensure all outputs reflect child rights standards. This role will be carried out under the direction and supervision of the Vice President of National Capacity Building.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the project’s communication and dissemination strategy;
• Produce materials (newsletters, reports, press releases, website, social media) for the project and the Consortium partners, including ICMEC-CH;
• Coordinate awareness-raising activities, workshops, and seminars with partners and authorities;
• Ensure all outputs reflect child rights standards and use inclusive language;
• Support visibility of ICMEC-CH activities within the consortium.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, design, international relations, journalism, or related field;
• At least three (3) years of experience in institutional or project communications, including communication strategy development and implementation;
• Strong writing and editing skills in English;
• Experience in social media and digital communication tools.

• Strong organizational and time management skills;
• Ability to engage with media and diverse audiences.
