Communications Specialist

We are looking to fill a few positions for Communication Specialists.

This position is responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to our crews and facilities we do business with. Must be able to think outside of the box and problem solve in order to support our organization’s goals and objectives. Must work to create clear and compelling messages through various channels such as phone and computer.

Key Responsibilities are:

Develop and execute communication plans that align with the company’s overall strategy. Build a rapport with facilities and individuals to schedule timely transports for patients. Gathering all pertinent and necessary information pertaining to transports over the phone.

Must be able to provide support to our EMS crews with accurate and specific directions, including patient run details, with location to allow for transports to/ from facilities, hospitals and doctor’s appointments.

Qualifications:

Strong written, verbal communication skills with pleasant phone voice Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simutaneously.

Experience:

• Writing skills: 1 year (Preferred)
