At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Configuration Manager to join our UniQue team.
What will you be doing in this role?
Accountable for Service Configuration Management and the CMDB;
Defining, executing, monitoring, and continuously improving the Service Configuration Management practice;
Establishing, tracking, and reporting on Service Configuration Management and CMDB KPIs;
Ensuring that the CMDB contains accurate and up-to-date information;
Ensuring that service trees are maintained and kept up to date;
Ensuring that Service Configuration Management processes and the CMDB are accurately reflected in the ITSM solution;
Preparing and maintaining policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that support the Service Configuration Management practice;
Contributing to the implementation and improvement of other ITIL practices;
Creating and maintaining a positive customer experience;
Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
Bachelor’s degree plus at least 5 years of IT experience, including 2 years in a similar role or relevant project experience;
Strong practical knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM), particularly Service Configuration Management;
Proven experience in defining, implementing, documenting, and improving Service Configuration Management practices;
Hands-on experience in implementing, managing, and governing a CMDB, including CI lifecycle management;
Proven ownership of CMDB data quality, governance, and continuous improvement;
Experience integrating CMDB with Change Enablement and other ITSM processes;
Practical knowledge of data source management, automated discovery, and CMDB integrations;
Experience creating, maintaining, and mapping services, service trees, and dependencies;
Strong understanding of IT service lifecycle management, complex information systems, and their interoperability;
Proven experience with CMDB reporting, auditing, and ServiceNow Configuration Management/CMDB;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong reporting and organizational abilities.
