Contracts Manager – Arb

We are looking to recruit an experienced Arboricultural Contracts Manager with the right
attitude and skills to lead, develop and motivate the arb team. With an excellent work ethic
and the ability to look at the bigger picture.

Based from our Windsor office you will be responsible for:

• Pricing, planning and overseeing the delivery of projects and keeping the arborists and apprentices
  up to date with current industry standards.
• Line management of your team and responsibility for maintaining and monitoring work schedules and
  safety checklists.
• Using our modern and extensive kit, your experienced teams will be undertaking a wide variety of
  interesting and challenging work.
• Managing and advising clients effectively for their budget allocations, developing their sites with
  an environmental focus.
• Alongside general tree works, you will be managing large biodiversity improvement projects and will
  work with clients to plan and deliver arboricultural works that benefit the environment.

Experience:

Essential

• Significant industry experience.
• Landscape and environmental knowledge.
• Experience of required industry legal standards and an understanding of industry terminology.
• Full, clean, U.K driving licence.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety and environmental regulations.
• Line management experience.
• Excellent IT skills.

Desirable

• Experience working with utility companies, wetlands and ecologically focused areas.
• Experience of working with local authorities.
• IOSH Managing Safety or SMSTS.

This role is for 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays increasing annually in line with employment anniversary. Fantastic company benefits package.
