Job Summary

A multi-award-winning Disabled actor, singer, writer, composer and director seeks a senior Creative Producer / Creative Access Manager to lead producing and fundraising across theatre, music, audio and writing. 9 hrs/week, £30/hr, remote.

Job Description

ABOUT THE ARTIST
The Artist is a multi-award-winning actor, singer, writer, composer and director with a career spanning more than two decades across theatre, music, radio/audio and writing. She has performed leading roles for major national companies, including world premieres, on some of the UK’s most prestigious stages. As a Disabled artist, she brings lived experience, artistic rigour and a distinctive voice to everything she makes. She is developing an ambitious new digitally immersive musical work, supported by major national arts funders.

THE ROLE
The Creative Producer / Creative Access Manager sits alongside the existing Support Worker team, providing producing, project management and fundraising, as well as Creative Access Management. Fundraising is a significant part of this role: identifying opportunities, writing applications and building lasting relationships with funders.

You’ll act as a trusted thinking partner, identifying where projects, partnerships, commissions, publications, productions and media opportunities intersect, and holding and amplifying the Artist’s established national profile with accuracy and pride.

This position exists to provide parity: structured, high-level access support so the Artist can work at the same professional standard and visibility as her peers.

We’re looking for someone trauma-informed, whose emotional literacy is equal to their professional skill. You’ll hold artistry and access together without flattening either, and move easily between the detail of the moment and the shape of the whole.

Self-employed Support Worker role funded by Access to Work. £30/hour, 9 hours/week, afternoons from 2pm. Fixed-term from 16 November 2026, with review for extension. Remote, with optional in-person meetings in NW2. Full job pack available on request.

Job Requirements

– Minimum 8 years’ experience in arts management
– Significant experience in leadership, creative producing, partnerships or organisational growth
– Experience of, or ambition to work across, subsidised and commercial producing
– A demonstrable track record of securing funding for creative projects
– Strategic and practical thinking, with initiative and clarity
– Strong understanding of arts, culture, media, publishing and creative industries
– Excellent relationship-building skills and established networks
– Confidence with complexity and ambiguity
– Experience translating complex creative projects into compelling stories
– Understanding of Disability, access and inclusive practice, including the Social Model of Disability
– Emotionally intelligent, proactive and trauma-literate
– Comfortable with varied communication styles, including video calls and WhatsApp voice notes
