We are currently seeking an experienced EFDA to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our practice.

Schedule:

• M: 8:00-6:00
• T/TH: 8:00-7:00
• F: 8:00-2:00

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience as a dental assistant required
• EFDA certification required
• X-Ray Certification Required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
• Familiarity with Dentrix, or other dental software systems is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures by preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols
• Take and process dental X-rays, ensuring patient safety and accurate diagnostic outcomes
• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, anticipating the dentist’s needs and ensuring patient comfort
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive measures
• Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Ensure a clean and organized treatment environment, restocking supplies, and equipment as necessary
