Job Description

How you’ll make an impact

As a Dental Assistant at Dental on the Shore, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of clinical procedures and the comfort of every patient who walks through our doors. You’ll work closely with a team of experienced dentists across a wide range of treatments, creating a calm and reassuring environment for our patients.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Providing chairside support during procedures
• Setting up treatment rooms and maintaining cleanliness and organisation
• Sterilising instruments and ensuring strict infection control protocols
• Assisting with stock control and day-to-day clinical tasks
• Being a key team player who contributes to a positive and professional environment

Qualifications

Your experience and approach

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, reliable, and passionate about patient care. You’ll bring a positive energy to the team and a commitment to delivering a great experience for every patient.

Ideally, you will have:

• Atleast 2 years of DA experience and Surgical DA experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Great attention to detail and time management
• A team-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn
• Confidence using computer systems and the ability to pick things up quickly

The Location

Lumino Dental on the Shore is located on Auckland’s North Shore. Based in Albany you will be close to Rosedale Park and local eateries for some great lunch time outings.
