About the opportunity: 

• 1 x Full-Time Dental Assistant/Receptionist (Monday to Friday availability)
• 1 x Casual Dental Assistant/Receptionist (Open to discussing suitable options with successful candidates – must be flexible between 7:45am – 6:15pm on available days)

We are conveniently located right near the bustling Gasworks Plaza; we’re situated on the gorgeous Brisbane River and we’re also close to public transport options.

The Heart of the Role:

• Develop and maintain positive relationships by providing excellent customer service to our patients
• Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment
• Deliver quality chairside assistance to our Dentists
• Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression
• Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
• Handling payments
• Provide instrument sterilisation and infection control solutions
• Maintain and implement infection control standards and procedures
• Patient care from entry to the surgery and recall management

What you’ll bring:

• Ideally 2+ months experience in Australia as a Dental Assistant.
• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded – and you’ll be compensated with the pay to match your experience level!
• Must have a current Working with Children’s Check, or be willing to obtain one
• Flexibility to cross train into Reception. Full training and support provided.
• You’re a motivated self-starter, this is a fast paced and dynamic role
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about customer service and patient care
• Vivacious and vibrant personality!
• Organised with attention to detail
• Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
