Our Bupa Dental Petrie practice is well known for its cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, implants and general dentistry. We are a solid, stable team looking for an experienced dual role Dental Assistant/Receptionist as we prepare for a significant growth in customer volumes. The Opportunity:
We have a versatile, exciting and rewarding opportunity at our Petrie,QLD practice available for a Dental Assistant – Receptionist seeking full time work
Modern dental practice with 5 chairs running a wide range of dental treatments
Friendly, fun and dedicated team
Free parking on site and opposite to Petrie train station
Maintain our amazing customer and team culture – providing continued excellent customer service to our patients
Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment
Deliver quality chairside assistance to our Dentists
Treatment coordination
Provide instrument sterilisation
Maintain infection control standards and procedures
Meet and greet patients, providing a great first impression
Book and amend appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
Making patients aware of dental services and offers
Handling payments
Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality
High-end patient care; building & maintaining relationships with all clients in a friendly & warm manner
You’ll be:
Available to work full time Monday to Friday (with a rotating Saturday)
Ideally 1+ years’ experience working in a similar role
Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded
You’re a motivated self-starter, this is a fast paced and dynamic role
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Passionate about customer service and patient care
Organised with attention to detail
Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
