Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. 

We are seeking a Dentist for a part-time (12 hours/week) position at Women’s Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Vandalia, Missouri. Our 2 day a week position is an excellent opportunity to pick up supplemental income on your days off or for the dentist stepping away from a full-time practice.This facility is located about 20 minutes west of Bowling Green, Missouri. 

The Dentist will provide comprehensive dental treatment to address the oral health needs of incarcerated patients, including examinations, providing preventative and corrective services, and develop, review, and evaluate dental treatment plans and procedures.

• Dental degree (DDS or DMD) from an accredited university required
• Active and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the state of Missouri 
• Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration and BNDD
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use
• Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable

Available Shift

• 12 hours per week
