MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

DENTIST 1 Open Competitive: Possession of a license and current registration to practice dentistry in New York State.

DENTIST 2 Promotion: Possession of a license and current registration to practice dentistry in New York State, and one year of service as a Dentist 1. Open Competitive: Possession of a license and current registration to practice dentistry in New York State and three years of full-time post licensure dentistry experience, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity in a dental health care setting.

DENTIST 3 Promotion: Possession of a license and current registration to practice dentistry in New York State, and one year of service as a Dentist 2.

Open Competitive: Possession of a license and current registration to practice dentistry in New York State and four years of full-time post licensure dentistry experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity in a dental health care setting.
