Job Description:

Acclaim Multispecialty Group, a partner with JPS Health Network is seeking a motivated and ambitious dentist to join our Dental team. As the county hospital system, JPS has been serving the residents of Tarrant County for over 100 years. This is a wonderful opportunity for innovative and passionate individuals to treat complex medical issues to those patients that need it most.

Schedule –Monday – Friday

Duties and Essential Job Functions:

  • Performs dentistry for patients of all ages and communicates dental after care instructions clearly to patients and provides dental health education at chairside.
  • Directs and evaluates work activities for team members including the professional, para-professional and ancillary staff positions.
  • Monitors and evaluates programs and services in adherence to program standards, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, the Joint Commission local ordinances, and state and federal laws applicable to assigned dental clinic.
  • Serves as a dental resource providing dental health education through lectures, literature, and training while participating in community health events.
  • Improves and facilitates patient access to the dental clinic.
  • Adheres to Network, Division, and Dental Department policies and or procedures, guidelines, quality improvement activities, compliance programs and code of ethics.
  • Maintains and continues professional growth and skills development by attending and participating in workshops, seminars and other continuous education programs to keep abreast of the latest trends in designated field of expertise.
  • Maintains positive and effective relationships with patients, family members, team members and other networks and providers.
  • Attends meetings as required, and serves on various committees as directed.
  • Local travel may be required to perform duties at multiple sites.
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery and or Doctor of Dental Medicine through the Commission of American Dental Association and the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners accredited dental school.
  • Certificate of Completion from Continuing Education Courses in order to maintain current certification and or licensure.
  • Two plus years of experience working independently as a dentist

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience working in population health/underserved dentistry
  • Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
  • Current Dental License from the State of Texas
