The consultant will play a role in rebranding the communication aspects of the key materials and resources for procurement strengthening activities including the VPF, VPPN, and the E-course on strategic vaccine procurement. In addition, the consultant will develop infographics relevant to VC’s key activities and revamp & visualize VC slide deck for internal & external presentations.
A key outcome will be to (a) visualize and edit the 2024 post-VPF reports as well as developing improved templates to be leveraged for the future VPF reports, (b) refine and develop templates of the pre-VPPN webinar Q&A document which is a brief documentation of interviews conducted with key government partners, (c) refine and develop templates of the post-VPPN webinar lessons learned document which is a brief summary of the webinars conducted, (d) develop 1-pager documents covering key vaccine procurement topics which will support introduce and promote specific procurement strengthening topics that are interlinked effectively, and (e) develop several infographics that gives overall overview of the VC’s key activities including procurement strengthening work that can enhance the visibility and accessibility to the work.
The consultant will be responsible for ensuring the following deliverables are achieved:
- Develop and create an overall design integrates the VC procurement strengthening work throughout all deliverables – Timeline 30 November 2024.
- Edit and design two post-Vaccine Procurement Forum (VPF) reports respectively for EAP regional VPF and WCA regional VPF, based on the content provided (The report may include infographics, photos, etc. in word version and in-design version) – Timeline 15 December 2024.
- Develop a template for the post-VPF report that can be leveraged for future VPF reporting – Timeline 15 December 2024.
- Develop a template for a pre-VPPN webinar Q&A document that can be leveraged for next VPPN webinars – Timeline 31 January 2025.
- Develop a template for a post-VPPN webinar lesson learned document that can be leveraged for next VPPN webinars – Timeline 31 January 2025.
- Develop 1-pager documents covering specific vaccine procurement topics – Timeline 28 February 2025.
- Develop infographics covering VC’s procurement strengthening activities – Timeline 28 March 2025.
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
- A university degree in a relevant field: graphic design, editing, reporting, communications, or similar areas of study. A combination of relevant academic qualifications and experience may be accepted in lieu of the university degree.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience of writing and editing humanitarian supply assets (reports, cases studies, web stories, etc.)
- Use of creative writing and editing to elevate supply narratives, and create compelling copy is essential – Experience of reporting on emergencies is an advantage.
- Experience of multi-tasking and managing multiple deadlines on writing and editing for different emergencies, countries, and types of documents.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
