Development Officer

The Benedetti Foundation is looking for a committed, enthusiastic and innovative person to join our team. We are seeking a committed, dedicated individual with previous experience in fundraising and a strong interest in music education. In this role you will build upon successful practices to date and work with our Head of Development and Trusts and Foundations Manager to assist in the growth of the Foundation’s income through supporting current fundraising activities, as well as identifying and researching new sources of funding. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to shaping the future of The Benedetti Foundation at a time of expansion.

The role will work closely with the Head of Development and Trusts and Foundations Manager to:

• Support the Foundation’s fundraising efforts
• Lead on the day-to-day fundraising administration (e.g. Friends and Patrons) of The Benedetti Foundation
• Assist with the Foundation’s programme of activities and fundraising events across the UK and online
• Be a proactive, self-motivated and supportive member of the Foundation team

Location for role: Home-based with a requirement to join monthly full team meetings in London and meet with the Head of Development in person as required for the role. You will also be required to attend occasional Benedetti Foundation events, wherever possible across the UK (all travel expenses will be reimbursed). Location is flexible within the UK and will be discussed and reviewed before an offer is made and at the end of the probationary period.

Hours: Full Time. Hours will generally be worked between Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with occasional evening and weekend work as required by the role; a time-in-lieu policy is in place.

Salary: £27,000
