Our Finance team is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Corporate Controlling to lead and manage our Corporate Controlling team.

The successful candidate will oversee monthly financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities. The team comprises currently two Financial Controllers and one HR Controller. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial and operational reporting, providing strategic insights, and supporting the business in achieving its financial objectives. The (Senior) Director of Corporate Controlling will report directly to the SVP Controlling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of currently three controllers and foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee and lead the monthly financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports to senior management and to the owner.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with other Controlling teams.
  • OPEX Controlling: Oversee the controlling of non-personnel operating expenses (OPEX) for the group. Thereby further establishing Corporate Controlling as a business partner for respective departments, providing financial insights and support.
  • HR Controlling: Work closely with the HR Controller to manage HR-related financial processes.
  • Analyze and report on HR metrics, including headcount, labor costs, and employee benefits.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks to the organization.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in financial controlling or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Experience with Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management), particularly the “Planning” module, is strongly preferred. 
  • Experience in HR controlling and managing non-personnel OPEX.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Languages: English on a proficiency level is a must.
