Division Chief of Endocrine Surgery – (664204)
Description
The UT Southwestern Department of Surgery is seeking to hire a fellowship-trained endocrine surgeon to serve as the Division Chief of Endocrine Surgery and director of the multidisciplinary endocrine tumor program at UTSW. The ideal candidate possesses direct experience in integrated clinical care and has demonstrated excellence in clinical practice. The new chief will have a distinguished academic career including a leadership role within a multifaceted academic endocrine surgery division. The chief will have a highly regarded clinical background, with a track record of scholarly achievements and peer-reviewed publications, and shows commitment towards a professional environment supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion. Applicant must be Board Certified in General Surgery and be eligible for a Texas Medical License. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
The Division is composed of 5 faculty surgeons and has a Texas Medical Board approved endocrine surgery fellowship program. The Division has provided 3,485 outpatient visits and performed 994 OR cases in the past year.

This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
