Promotion of health, prevention, monitoring, and assistance to employees. Collaborates in the administration and planning of the company’s health programs. Ensures legal compliance in occupational health matters. Assists in the management of IMSS cases for risk premium.
JOB DUTIES:
Provides general medical attention, preventive care, and occupational risk management. Also handles medical-surgical emergencies and medical care at the BRK Electronics sites in Mexico.
Coordinates and conducts pre-employment medical examinations (physical-clinical fitness for the worker’s position).
Coordinates and ensures the scheduling and execution of periodic and special medical examinations for epidemiological monitoring in accordance with STPS and SSA regulations.
Participates in accident investigations and follows up on corrective actions applicable to their area.
Participates in the risk analysis of machinery and operations (ergonomics and health control).
Responds to IMSS regarding occupational risks received (ST-7 and ST-9) and maintains administrative control of all cases.
Develops and coordinates health and preventive medicine programs and campaigns.
Controls and ensures the management of occupational risk disabilities, IMSS documents and forms for the integration of information for the risk premium.
Manages cases with IMSS/INDEX and carries out procedures with COESPRIS, SSA, and IMSS.
Ensures, maintains, and controls the necessary medication and equipment for employee care and emergencies.
Monitors employee health in control groups (chronic diseases, pregnancy and lactation, HR group, POE, etc.).
Schedules meetings with cafeteria managers to ensure compliance with sanitary conditions and cleanliness and handling standards required by law.
Keeps procedures, records, and administrative controls of the medical department up to date.
Coordinates the first aid brigade.
Participates in the Safety and Hygiene Committee.
MUST HAVE:
3 years of experience in manufacturing.
Medical professional license.
Bilingual Spanish/English (speaking, reading, writing).
