Do you want to join a leading assistance company and work with a multicultural team?

Your role will be to be in charge of managing cases, organizing repatriations and coordinating travel medical assistance.

We are looking for our new Doctor (Part-time job) for the TRAVEL area! We need a specialist in Integral Attention to the critical patient and emergencies.

ABOUT YOU:

You know what it’s like to work in a team but at the same time you like autonomy. You are also a self-motivated and energetic professional who works without any supervision or mentorship, but you do not mind asking if needed.

You will report directly to the responsible, giving follow up and support in all the areas of the department.

FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES:

• Medical Coordination.
• Assessment of medical cases, making the corresponding reports after contacting the Responsible Doctors of the patients at national and international level.
• Study and analysis of medical reports.
• Assessment of coverage for assistance and reimbursement cases.
• Assessment at the level of care centres and their suitability for the pathological process.
• Assessment of the transportability of patients.
• Preparation of patient repatriation plans.
• Coordination of the re-admission of patients to hospital centres of destination, both nationally and internationally.
• Cost control.
• Correspondent for other Area Departments.
• Telephone medical advice.
• Audit of invoices on medical expenses.

Qualifications

• Degree in Medicine
• Languages: English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
• Office automation: Office package user
• Professional experience in emergencies. Valuable medical speciality.
• Resolving and negotiating skills.
• Customer / patient orientation.
• Organization and adaptability.
