Summary:
The Doctor’s Assistant in the Surgery Department is a specialized Veterinary Assistant (VA) who plays a crucial role in the surgery department. This position assists a dedicated surgeon in preparing cases, scrubbing in on surgeries, and handling paperwork. The Doctor’s Assistant helps ensure a smooth workflow in the surgery department by managing pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative tasks. The role focuses on providing support to the surgeons and improving the overall efficiency of the surgical team.
