The Doctor’s Technician will be responsible for assisting doctors in medical procedures, examinations, and patient care. This role involves preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace for medical staff. The Doctor’s Technician will also be expected to interact with patients, take vital signs, and maintain accurate medical records.
Qualifications:**
High school diploma or equivalent required; certification or training as a medical assistant is a plus
Proven experience working in a medical setting, preferably as a medical assistant, nursing assistant, or similar role
Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and basic patient care practices
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients and medical staff
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:**
Prepare examination rooms for procedures, including sterilizing equipment and ensuring adequate supplies are available
Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and treatments as needed
Take patient vital signs and record information accurately in medical charts
Provide basic patient care under the supervision of doctors or nurses
Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and medical staff
Follow all established protocols and procedures in accordance with healthcare regulations and standards
Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and updating patient records
Requirements:**
Proven experience as a Doctor’s Technician, medical assistant, or similar role
Understanding of medical procedures, terminology, and patient care practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Certification or training in medical assisting is a plus
